    The Paralegal Certificate program is designed for students who have earned a bachelor's degree prior to application to the Center and have achieved a passing score of 20 on the Wonderlic Personnel Test. This program is streamlined to provide education in the most employable and demanding areas of the law, while still offering the essential paralegal courses of study.
  • Paralegal Studies (Associate's Degree)
    The Associate of Applied Science Degree Paralegal Program provides comprehensive preparation for a paralegal career. Students must hold a minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent and achieve a passing score of 20 on the Wonderlic Personnel Test in order to be accepted into this program. It provides a practical and intense study of a variety of areas of law and completes this experience through an offering of general education classes.

While attorneys assume the final responsibility for legal work, they seek the assistance of paralegals and Legal Secretaries in all phases of case management and trial preparation. Paralegal and Legal Secretary opportunities are projected to grow faster than average in the coming years, as they increasingly perform many legal tasks formerly carried out by lawyers. Legal Training curriculum includes instruction in civil litigation, business law, real estate law, torts, family law, and the law of wills, trusts, and estates.
